I went bowling!

I carried a 6 pound bowling ball back and forth to the bowling dinosaur

Two is my favorite number

Two is my favorite number. I need two elmos, two elephants, two cheeses, two of everything. Today I wore two hats.

And two pairs of pants. You can just see the waistband of my blue pair under the yellow pair. I put them on myself!

I helped mommy make conductive (green) and insulating (red) playdoh for her to use in her class.

The Luminarium

The Luminarium is a traveling art exhibit. It is an inflated enclosed space (like a bouncy house -- but not bouncy) of fantastic color. All the color is created by natural sunlight traveling through colored sections of plastic. There are no lights in the exhibit. It was at UCSB this weekend.

Visiting Nanna and Boppa

On the way to visit Nanna and Boppa, I saw this green guy made out of legos.

Vivi's sentences

Vivi is talking in sentences. Some of my favorites.....

1. I'll be back (runs away and runs right back) I come back! (over and over and over again)
2. I go walking. (I want to walk or I am walking)
3. I want all done. (translation: I am all done and I want to get down)
4. I want no on. (translation: I want to take this shirt/pants/hat/jacket off)
5. Happy Happy Happy Happy Vivi (translation: Happy Birthday Vivi!)
6. No Vivi. I want Momma. (translation: No, I don't want the little cracker/cookie/piece of cheese. I want the big piece. Apparently Vivi is what she calls "small" and Momma is what she calls "big" - this is true of food, animals, buttons, etc.)

Penguins and Robots

I bet you didn't know Daddy teaches Penguins! Here's a picture of one.

We went to see their robots compete - they are team 1717. The robot is playing frisbee.

I wore my penguin shirt and carried around two penguins all day. Here I'm waving black and white pom poms around.

This is the championship game. They WON! first place.

How does your garden grow?

I helped Daddy plant the garden. I need to wear gloves. Mommy's are just about the right size.
