Stacking rings

I've been practicing a new skill

I dump all the rings onto the floor.

And then stack them on the post... over and over again.

Luminarium

The Luminarium - a visiting art exhibit. It looked like a giant Martian bouncy house.

Inside - no lights - just colored plastic that let the light in and looked like lights.

Making art - video

Vivi has become a big fan of painting, coloring, etc. When she wants to draw or paint, she points at her crayons or paints or goes and gets her paper. She knows exactly where we keep them. This video is from this morning before breakfast. She'd already been coloring for a while before I started taking video.

Giant Bunnies

Lots of Easter events today.

First we went to the park. I got to decorate a bag for egg collecting. So far so good.

Then there was a GIANT bunny. I didn't trust that bunny one little bit. There was no way I was going to let Mommy put me down. She probably still has marks from where my fingers dug into her shoulder when the bunny waved at me. I kept a close eye on that bunny the rest of the time we were at the park.

Then we went to a "Bunny Train" ride at the old depot (now a museum). I wasn't tall enough to ride the train.

I was tall enough to ride on Daddy's shoulders though. I tried to get his sunglasses.

And, get this, there was ANOTHER giant bunny at the train station! Where are they all coming from?

Guess what I discovered!

Strawberries are all over our backyard.

Now every morning, I bang on the back door until they let me out to find strawberries.

Sunday morning

I did some reading,

made fishy faces,

and played at the playground.

And that was all before noon. I painted and had an Easter egg hunt in the afternoon. Stay tuned for more photos.
