Fish fish fish! So excited about all the fish in the pet store. Running from tank to tank with arms flying.

Language development

For quite a while now Vivi has said duck, dog, dada, mama, and all done. Just in the last few days she has quite a few new words: outside (oow-si),  shoe (sh), sock (aah), fish (ish), monkey (ookey), draw (I-dra), bubbles, water and Elmo (mo). She also knows animal sounds for a monkey, lion, and dog. She also says a lot of other things - but we don't understand what she's saying. 

She signs/gestures "more" "milk" "so big" "yes" "no" and points to her head/belly/legs/feet/ears/eyes/nose/fingers/arms/hands/teeth, when asked, follows simple directions and knows the names of all of her toys and all of her friends. She understand EVERYTHING we say.

In the morning, I painted a card for her. Then we went to her party.

I played in the sensory tub full of ice and bottles.

It is a flower "bed," isn't it?

I played soccer, just like the big kids.

chalk spinner

I saw this chalk spinner online -
http://www.kodokids.com/spinners.html
and thought "Vivi needs one of those." So I took our lazy susan and painted with chalkboard paint... 

And now we have a chalk spinner for Vivi.

Mommy spins the chalk spinner and I hold the chalk down.

 Mommy needs to figure out how to put a motor on it now.
