Climbing the walls

When I went to visit Vivi at lunch today, she was literally climbing the walls (windows) at daycare. Here are some photos. They were taken with my phone, so the quality isn't very good.

Yay! I'm 10 months old.

Well, we tried... (10 months)

I tried to get some pictures of Vivi holding up the 1 and the 0 to make "10" this morning. This is what I ended up with. We'll try again later. Happy 10 month birthday, Vivi!

Look at me - no hands!

Vivi is standing! She can stand up for 15-20 seconds at a time and is so so proud of herself when she stands up. That jumble (green thing in her hand) seems to be a bit like Dumbo's feather. She holds on to it whenever she's practicing her standing at home.

 Vivi is playing peek-a-boo with me (hiding behind the couch).

In the background of the above photo, you can see a quilt we just received as a gift (thank you "Shannon's Mom" Paula and Ken!). It is the most interesting quilt. The panels are animals and letters but instead of just "A is for Alligator, B is for Bear, C is for Cat..." A is for Alligator wearing an Argyle sweater and socks eating Apples and Asparagus under an Awning. C is for a Calico Cat and a Cow wearing Cowboy gear eating Cake in a room with Curtains and a Clock. We're still finding new things that start with the letters - it's like a game and a quilt all in one. :)  Check out the picture of six of the panels above.
