Fiesta

Our official number - pinned to the side of the boat.

Walking with Daddy. Notice the umbrellas? It rained this morning. In August! On parade day. Fortunately it stopped just before parade time.

This was our float - it's a boat. All the kids could ride in it.

Our float made giant bubbles. The bubble mix is stored in the support pipe and the net gets lowered into the bubble solution and then pops up and makes a bubble.  Everyone cheered for us.

Sometimes I rode in the boat

But mostly, I ran about, directing the action.

Wow. Look at that bubble!

Playing with the flowers.

That was a lot of work. Now I hydrate.

July 20

Trying to see what the "big kids" are doing. And yes, I do need my sweater even though it is 80 degrees. Wouldn't you if your sweater turned you into a dragon?

Dress up time. Tutu and apron. Holding a piggy.

I know that fish swim in water. Maybe my goldfish crackers would like to be in my sippy cup. Do they fit through the straw?

Hmm... I think I like this guacamole.

Preparing for fiesta - and my new dress

Did you all know that I am going to be in a parade?! It's a Fiesta Parade for children.

Granny made me a special dress to wear in the parade.

It's a great dress for dancing. Thank you Granny!

Here's the frame for the float - it's going to be a boat!

I checked to make sure it was sturdy.

We're painting it to look like it's made of wood.

bench

No no I don't need any help getting up on this bench. I can do it myself.

Oh yeah. I did it. Standing on the bench.

And today, a monkey!

My little dragon

This is what happens when Vivi picks our her own clothes...

There's a dragon in the house!

To the pool

This way to the pool.

I've got my duck in hand and my duck robe. I am ready.

We'll let the duck test the waters first.

Pumpkin carving

So that's what's inside a pumpkin.

I fit in the pumpkin!

Happy Halloween!
