A baby's paradise

Vivi's PEP group (all the babies born within a few weeks of each other in town) had a one year birthday party for all the babies at the local MyGym. This place is a Gym just for little kids. Vivi loved it.

We also sang songs, had a baby zip line, climbed on all sorts of soft stairs, played on a trampoline, played with a parachute and saw puppet shows. Such a fun place for little ones.

Matching socks

Vivi loves "helping" sort her clean laundry. This usually means that as I (or Lyle) put her clothes into piles (all the shirts in one pile and the pants in another), she grabs the clothes out of the top of basket and throws them somewhere on the floor. However, last week, as I was sorting out her laundry, she systematically picked out socks and handed them to me. I figured that was progress - she was starting to recognize that we were putting clothes of the same type together. Then, last night, after making a pile of socks, I was matching her socks and folding them together. She found two socks (that matched!) and handed them to me to be put together. It's amazing what she learns from watching.

February 12

I went to a conference last week. I helped load the car. 

I love my shoes! I find them first thing in the morning. I even wear them with my pajamas.
